Lou's Wedding Weekend xx, Lea

I wanted to quickly explain why Lou and I have been M.I.A. this last week....Lou's wedding was this past weekend! It was gorgeous! Lou looked beautiful...her groom and I both shed a couple of tears when she was walking down the aisle (ok, mostly me shedding the tears).

Making My Guest Book xx, Lou

I used shutterfly.com to create my custom guest book for the wedding.  I love that you have the option to import your own backgrounds or use their great designs.  I paid extra to have pages that would lay flat.  I am planning to have gold & black permanent markers for guests to sign the book.

Wedding Band Shopping xx, Lea

Who wouldn’t love shopping for a wedding band? 

“Oh, you want me to add more bling to my already sparkly finger? No problem!” 

Lou and I live by the phrase “more is more”, so we stopped by our favorite spot, Mann’s Jewelers, to try on some wedding band options.  I love the idea of two wedding bands with the engagement ring.  I heard the saying “One for me, one for him, and one for us” as what each ring represents... and I’m running with it! The fun thing about a wedding band is you can always change it up to give your ring a different look! I have decided on mixing a yellow diamond band with my white diamond band. Which colors do you love?

Choosing my invitation xx, Lea

I was surprised when my fiancé expressed an opinion about the invitations we are going to send for our wedding.  He wanted something “classic and simple”.  Classic is fine with me, but Lou and I both tend to shy away from simple. I have attached a couple of invitations that have a classic feel, yet by adding gold letterpress and beveled edges could never be considered simple -- perhaps simply perfect!  After the save the date, the invitation is the next item a guest receives that will set the tone for your wedding. What is the tone you want to set for your big day?
