My favorite wedding hair xx, Lea

Right now I am grow, grow, growing my locks to get them wedding ready by May, but not everyone has time to get their hair as long as they would like and many people opt for a fab updo, which does not require long hair. So whether you chose to wear your hair naturally long, stick in a weave for assistance or throw your hair up, I thought I would share some of my favorite wedding hairstyles. 

                                                 

Updos are a great choice for weddings year round, giving any bride a polished and finished look, while also keeping you cool throughout the night.  I love the detail some hair artists can create! Adding twists, curls and braids (in moderation) can make a gorgeous look for your wedding day.  My personal preference with an updo is to have a side bang or swoopy hair covering at least a quarter of your forehead so your head does not appear too flat in pictures.  

I have a slight obsession with long wedding curls (hence my hustle to grow my hair longer by May)! I love the volume and bounce created by curls! Whether you have a slight wave, a wand or your classic curl, it can make a bride extra feminine and romantic! 

Something I have seen a few brides opt for these days is to wear their hair down for the ceremony and throw it up for the reception to avoid over heating.  Why not?
